Quim Gil, the Open Source Advocate of Nokia, Maemo Devices will keep the opening keynote at Openmind! Mr. Gil will talk about the brand new Maemo 5 software, the future of Maemo and what business opportunities and possibilities it offers for communities and companies. Naturally, we will also have a look to the just released Nokia N900 mobile computer.
FLUG's Linux-tekijä 2009 award will be presented by Jyrki J. Kasvi, a member of the Finnish Parliament, at the Openmind conference.
COSS, the Finnish Centre for Open Source Solutions, is organising the 6th Openmind conference in association with the MindTrek conference. Openmind 2009 will be held on MindTrek's Partner Sessions day on Wednesday September 30th in Tampere, Finland.
Openmind, a forward-looking international conference focusing on openness in business, technology and innovation, is held annually in Finland, the birthplace of Linux. Openmind is an open forum for 200 open source professionals, community members and academics.
